The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Posam recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo Morales sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 35th minute of the match Miguel Pinilla sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Eduardo Rios skillfully saved the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Potrerillos Abajo F.C.'s zone, Alberto Posam stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eduardo Rios came out of the goal and Alberto Posam tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lorenzo Morales fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Rios having to interfere. Reinaldo Arauz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half Capelli FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Wilfredo Villalobos made the kick off in the second half. Eduardo Rios made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Alberto Posam sent off a good shot on target. Alberto Posam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Javier Centella hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match.
