Spectators: 6793 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 0) Sebastián Peralta started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rd match minute, La Mitra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monchi Escobar to maneuver through the defense. Fabio González could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 5th minute of the match, but Giancarlo Vergara made a huge save. 7 minutes into the match, La Mitra's Sebastián Peralta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jose Chavez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Fabio González sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Luis Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mitra's goalkeeper Giancarlo Vergara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jose Chavez came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by La Mitra's Sebastián Peralta. But to his dismay, Sebastián Peralta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Max De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Jose Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Luis Corral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max De Leon struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Jose Chavez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Mitra. Fabio González who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Giancarlo Vergara when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Monchi Escobar kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. La Mitra's Max De Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sebastián Peralta charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sebastián Peralta the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, La Mitra's Sebastián Peralta got a free kick in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fabio González stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sebastián Peralta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Jose Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Max De Leon came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the La Mitra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Max De Leon couldn't finish the play. Jose Chavez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sebastián Peralta in the 60th minute of the match. Max De Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jose Chavez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Cerro Punta's Jose Chavez got control of the ball when Max De Leon tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sebastián Peralta in the 71st minute of play forced Cerro Punta's goalkeeper Jose Chavez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute Ricardo Posam shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giancarlo Vergara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When La Mitra's Sebastián Peralta in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cerro Punta's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Fabio González managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerro Punta's supporters rose to their feet, but Fabio González was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giancarlo Vergara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Sebastián Peralta came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the La Mitra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Peralta couldn't finish the play. Ricardo Posam kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Monchi Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Giancarlo Vergara took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio González, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 97th minute, Sebastián Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mitra's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jose Chavez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
