Spectators: 6782 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1782, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sebastián Peralta started the match with the kick off. An unexpected shot in the 6th minute by Javier Gomez got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. A collision led to La Mitra getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Javier Gomez hit a great ball. In the 9th minute Fabio Gutierrez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giancarlo Vergara saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, La Mitra's Javier Gomez got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 12th minute of the match Franklin Sánchez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Giancarlo Vergara skillfully saved the ball. Monchi Escobar's late challenge caught a Cerro Cama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Monchi Escobar helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Cerro Cama booed when La Mitra was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Monchi Escobar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabio Gutierrez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giancarlo Vergara having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in La Mitra's zone, Fabio Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Giancarlo Vergara came out of the goal and Fabio Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Luchito Calderón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cerro Cama's supporters rose to their feet, but Luchito Calderón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Giancarlo Vergara breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 1-0 became the score in the 30th minute when Max De Leon elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Javier Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the La Mitra fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Javier Gomez couldn't finish the play. La Mitra's Max De Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Giancarlo Vergara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Gutierrez in the 43rd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luchito Calderón stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Fabio Gutierrez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giancarlo Vergara read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Sebastián Peralta got in the 58th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Antonio Gonzalez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Sebastián Peralta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Antonio Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sebastián Peralta, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Javier Gomez's late challenge caught a Cerro Cama's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Javier Gomez helped the player get up and apologised. After 67 played minutes La Mitra got a freekick which was hit by Javier Gomez. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luchito Calderón during the 68th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Antonio Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sebastián Peralta went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Antonio Gonzalez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max De Leon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Max De Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sebastián Peralta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Antonio Gonzalez having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Sebastián Peralta managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Mitra's supporters rose to their feet, but Sebastián Peralta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Max De Leon might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Antonio Gonzalez. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max De Leon ran back to his position shaking his head. If Max De Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. La Mitra walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
