Totin Oberto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramón Navarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. If José Herrera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 34 played minutes San Miguelito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Orozco. 35 minutes into the game, José Herrera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Reinaldo Henriguez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Reinaldo Henriguez came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Boulevards FC's José Herrera. After a defensive mix-up in San Miguelito F.C.'s zone, Ivan Gutierrez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reinaldo Henriguez came out of the goal and Ivan Gutierrez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tomás Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pablo Henriguez in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Reinaldo Henriguez saved San Miguelito F.C. from getting behind. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

The wind increased when José Herrera made the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, José Herrera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivan Gutierrez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Reinaldo Henriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 58 played minutes San Miguelito F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Edgardo Villarreal. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Tomás Garcia managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulevards FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tomás Garcia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Reinaldo Henriguez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan Gutierrez had several of the San Miguelito F.C.'s defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 74 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-6 score and a disappointed Reinaldo Henriguez as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 79th match minute, San Miguelito F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Orozco to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, San Miguelito F.C.'s Reinaldo Henriguez got control of the ball when Tomás Garcia tried to sneak it across the goal line.
