Spectators: 6775 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1775, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilberto Quintero took the kick off in the first half of the match. Toto Ortega came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by La Miel F.C.'s Emiliano Posam. But to his dismay, Emiliano Posam quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 18th minute Gilberto Quintero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toto Ortega saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jaime Barrera recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lorenzo De Gracia's late challenge caught a La Mitra's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lorenzo De Gracia helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, La Miel F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lorenzo De Gracia to maneuver through the defense. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind La Miel F.C.'s goalkeeper Eduardo Urane, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in La Mitra's zone, Gilberto Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toto Ortega came out of the goal and Gilberto Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Emiliano Posam came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the La Miel F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emiliano Posam couldn't finish the play. In the 39th minute, Emiliano Posam made a precise shot to the right of Toto Ortega. La Mitra's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Toto Ortega showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Quintero in the 46th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Barrera stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. La Miel F.C.'s Eduardo Urane played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaime Barrera in the 52nd minute of play. After having played for 53 minutes, Emiliano Posam managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. La Miel F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Emiliano Posam was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, La Mitra's goalkeeper Toto Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Posam. When Emiliano Posam, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 65 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Toto Ortega was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Emiliano Posam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Toto Ortega tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind La Mitra's goalkeeper Toto Ortega, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, La Mitra's goalkeeper Toto Ortega had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emiliano Posam. With a little luck, La Mitra's Toto Ortega got control of the ball when Emiliano Posam tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joe Moreno during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 80th minute, Joe Moreno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Emiliano Posam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Gilberto Quintero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luis Perez kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. After 86 minutes, Calito Toledano mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Mitra and the La Miel F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to La Mitra getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Calito Toledano hit a great ball. Toto Ortega acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 87th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emiliano Chavez. With an all-out effort, La Miel F.C.'s Toto Ortega threw himself towards the right post 90 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gilberto Quintero, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. If Gilberto Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 96th minute, Jaime Barrera left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The La Mitra fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
