Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Baldomero Cordeara to strike the kick off in the second half. From close distance Joel Cefero pressed in the 1-3 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 53 minutes into the game. 58 minutes into the match, La Mitra's goal looked a bit too open when Baldomero Cordeara came free, but Toto Ortega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toto Ortega made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Joel Cefero sent off a good shot on target. Gabriel Ramirez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luchito Benavides in the 60th minute of play. Toto Ortega showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Baldomero Cordeara, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Baldomero Cordeara in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Toto Ortega prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
