Antonio Garcías short, quick shot in the 25thth minute got Felipe Lao to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 31st minute, Ulpiano Morris ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Felipe Lao was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Río Duque F.C.'s zone, Ulpiano Morris stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felipe Lao came out of the goal and Ulpiano Morris tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 34th match minute, Río Duque F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alejandro Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. If Jiří Šuba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Hermes Tijero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Jiří Šuba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Julio Palma tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ulpiano Morris in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Felipe Lao prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 85 minutes into the game, Francesco Paredes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Río Duque F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Creepy Lions Club the free kick. The supporters of Creepy Lions Club booed when Río Duque F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francesco Paredes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Río Duque F.C.'s Jiří Šuba got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulpiano Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonio García had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Many of Río Duque F.C.'s supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Río Duque F.C. may have spent more time on the ball, but Creepy Lions Club were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
