After 6 played minutes Yeison fc got a freekick which was hit by Victor Moscoso. Romel Alfaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orlando Morris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 15 minutes into the match, Yeison fc's goalkeeper Romel Alfaro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reggie Arias. The audience was convinced that Giancarlo Morris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ulpiano Muñoz was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. 19 minutes into the match, Capellanía's goal looked a bit too open when Giancarlo Morris came free, but Ulpiano Muñoz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ulpiano Muñoz came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Yeison fc's Giancarlo Morris. But to his dismay, Giancarlo Morris quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 39th minute, Giancarlo Morris got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 40th minute, Wilfredo Oberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Giancarlo Morris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Capellanía players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Yeison fc were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Orlando Morris stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Giancarlo Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulpiano Muñoz having to interfere. Orlando Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Romel Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yeison fc's Romel Alfaro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Morris in the 57th minute of play. Reggie Arias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romel Alfaro having to interfere. If Wilfredo Oberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Oberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Ulpiano Muñoz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Manuel Osorio fell near the penalty area in the 70th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Capellanía's protests and gave Manuel Osorio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 70th minute, Manuel Osorio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Wilfredo Oberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilfredo Oberto struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Ulpiano Muñoz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yeison fc. When Yeison fc's Giancarlo Morris in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Capellanía's goalie prevented a goal. Orlando Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Romel Alfaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Romel Alfaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Morris in the 84th minute of play. Romel Alfaro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Orlando Morris went, in the 88th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Capellanía's Reggie Arias got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Humberto Orozco hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Yeison fc walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
