In the 5th match minute, Puerto Caimito F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Enrique Paredes to maneuver through the defense. Manuel Pimentel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Reggie Arias's shot from short distance in the 13th minute. 14 minutes into the match, Puerto Caimito F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Orlando Morris came free, but Manuel Pimentel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Enrique Spadaforas short, quick shot in the 23rdth minute got Ulpiano Muñoz to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Juan Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ulpiano Muñoz having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Puerto Caimito F.C.'s Joe Briceño got a free kick in the 29th minute. Orlando Morris received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Ulpiano Muñoz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Spadafora, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Puerto Caimito F.C. booed when Capellanía was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Milton Palma didn't get a good kick on the ball. Capellanía's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
