Tomás Smith received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tomaso Aizprua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Andres Sobenis reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tomaso Aizprua. The goal made the score 1-1. After having played for 25 minutes, Victor Palma managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colon's supporters crossed their fingers, but Victor Palma was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tomaso Aizprua made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Andres Sobenis in the 33rd minute of play. In the 39th minute, Tomaso Urane got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Edgardo Muñoz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Francesco Zapata prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Victor Palma's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Francesco Zapata was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 61 played minutes Hercatales F.C got a freekick which was hit by Ramón Vergara. In the 69th match minute, Colon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Carranza to maneuver through the defense.
