When Humberto Gomez came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Entradero fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Humberto Gomez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Colon's Pedro Pinilla got a free kick in the 15th minute. Miguel Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomaso Aizprua having to interfere. Tomaso Aizprua took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Miguel Rios, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Humberto Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Tomaso Aizprua tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the match, Colon's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Gomez came free, but Tomaso Aizprua reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 25th minute, Humberto Gomez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tomaso Aizprua was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Calito Fernández made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Palma in the 29th minute of play. Agustin Brandao hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Tomaso Urane could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Calito Fernández made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Miguel Rios managed to get in a good position for a shot. Entradero's supporters rose to their feet, but Miguel Rios was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomaso Aizprua breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet as Colon's Victor Palma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Calito Fernández. That made the score 1-1 after 42 minutes of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Humberto Gomez to strike the kick off in the second half. Tomaso Urane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 66th minute Victor Palma shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calito Fernández saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Miguel Rios could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Tomaso Aizprua made a huge save. Entradero's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
