Chorrillo F.C's Jonathan Torrijos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Valdez in the 11th minute of play. Jonathan Torrijos came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Sajalices F.C.'s Ivan Alfaro. But to his dismay, Ivan Alfaro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Chorrillo F.C's Jonathan Torrijos proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Chorrillo F.C from getting a goal against them. When Cesar Valdez came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Sajalices F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar Valdez couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Chorrillo F.C's zone, Ivan Alfaro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Torrijos came out of the goal and Ivan Alfaro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Ramirez hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Max Diaz came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Chorrillo F.C's Wiliam Vergara. But to his dismay, Wiliam Vergara quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wiliam Vergara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Max Diaz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Wiliam Vergara came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Chorrillo F.C fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wiliam Vergara couldn't finish the play. In the 35th minute, Totin Benavides hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wiliam Vergara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Diaz having to interfere. Max Diaz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ulpiano Henríguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giancarlo De Diego kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Sajalices F.C.'s Totin Benavides couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 44th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chorrillo F.C. After 46 played minutes, Sajalices F.C.'s Totin Benavides shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jonathan Torrijos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sajalices F.C. reached it. Cesar Valdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Torrijos having to interfere. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Vergara got free with Max Diaz in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Jonathan Torrijos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesar Valdez in the 71st minute of play. Chorrillo F.C's Jonathan Torrijos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Valdez in the 73rd minute of play. After 75 minutes, Giancarlo De Diego mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chorrillo F.C and the Sajalices F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Alfaro in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Torrijos prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Villalobos during the 82nd minute. Max Diaz was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ulpiano Henríguez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 95 minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
