Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ramón Nuñez got the match started through his kick off. Luchito Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ramón Nuñez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 6 minutes into the match, What F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Nuñez came free, but Luchito Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Juan Morris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduardo Perez was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 13th minute, Heraclides Gómez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luchito Paredes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 15 played minutes El Cortezo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raul Amaya. Raul Amaya charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Raul Amaya the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, El Cortezo F.C.'s Raul Amaya got a free kick in the 20th minute. Juan Morris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Perez having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Francesco Palma was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. What F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Cortezo F.C. the free kick. In the 25th minute, Francesco Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luchito Paredes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ramón Nuñez in the 30th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fabio Ramos during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fabio Ramos hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Heraclides Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luchito Paredes having to interfere. Juan Moscoso took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eduardo Perez. Eduardo Perez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Juan Morris made a kick off. 65 minutes into the match, What F.C.'s goalkeeper Luchito Paredes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Heraclides Gómez. Alex Gómez's late challenge caught a El Cortezo F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Gómez helped the player get up and apologised. In the 66th minute, Alex Gómez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Palma took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Eduardo Perez. El Cortezo F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 84th minute, Hector Palma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Juan Morris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute, Reggie Urane hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After recieving a nice pass, El Cortezo F.C.'s Luchito Benavides tried to score from far away in the 91st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 95th match minute, What F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Gómez to maneuver through the defense. If Heraclides Gómez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
