Juan Morris might have been able to make a better finish in the 18th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Nicolás Agurto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Juan Morris ran back to his position shaking his head. If Orlando Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Juan Moscoso struck a weak shot in the 22nd minute. Nicolás Agurto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for What F.C.. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Cesar Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luchito Paredes having to interfere. In the 57th minute Hermes Centella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luchito Paredes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Luchito Paredes managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Calobre's Orlando Castro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Orlando Castro could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Luchito Paredes made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Jaen during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Luchito Paredes came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by Calobre's Orlando Castro. But to his dismay, Orlando Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Orlando Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 83rd minute, Alberto Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cesar Zapata received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Luchito Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Cesar Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calobre's supporters rose to their feet, but Cesar Zapata was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luchito Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
