Alexis Villalaz breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Martín Pérez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Lucho Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joe Smith blasted a shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alexis Villalaz having to make a save. Alexis Villalaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Quintero in the 43rd minute of play. Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s Alexis Villalaz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Humberto Quintero in the 44th minute of play. Joe Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

In the 52nd minute, Martín Pérez made a precise shot to the right of Lucho Fernandez. Isla Iguana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Alexis Villalaz yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. Alexis Villalaz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Quintero in the 74th minute of play. 77 minutes into the match, Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Quintero came free, but Alexis Villalaz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonathan Ramírez kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Alexis Villalaz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Humberto Quintero's shot from short distance in the 81st minute. If Humberto Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Martín Pérez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lucho Fernandez was relentless in the 90th minute of the game.
