Alex Jaen struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Pedro Ramos didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓. Reinaldo Paredes hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Hector Carranza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Bercea having to interfere. Alex Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Pedro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hector Carranza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Marin Bercea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nicolás Benavides, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Jaen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Pedro Ramos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 43 minutes of play, ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s Alex Jaen made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Pedro Ramos was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 48th minute, Alex Jaen got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alex Jaen made a kick off. When Marcos Batista fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s protests and gave Marcos Batista a yellow card for diving instead. Marcos Batista kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Marin Bercea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicolás Benavides in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th match minute, ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wiliam Escalona to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Ramos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Hector Carranza could shoot a difficult shot in the 71st minute, which Marin Bercea however easily saved by the left post. When the match had gone on for 71 minutes, Hector Carranza took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Marin Bercea to make any attempt to save it. ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s Alex Jaen got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The throw-in from Lorenzo Castro in the 81st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s Marcos Batista. After having played for 82 minutes, Alex Jaen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Jaen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Moisés De Gracia managed to get in a good position for a shot. ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓'s supporters rose to their feet, but Moisés De Gracia was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pedro Ramos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Emiliano Henriguez hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Moisés De Gracia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alex Jaen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the ▓M▓A▓R▓G▓U▓N▓ players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
