Agustin Peralta took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franklin Carrillo. Franklin Carrillo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Franklin Carrillo made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when Alexis Lao sent off a good shot on target. Franklin Carrillo came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Villa Rosario's Agustin Peralta. But to his dismay, Agustin Peralta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 16th minute of the match, Gilberto Pinilla tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Franklin Carrillo saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Villa Rosario's Javier Benavides played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by David Garcia in the 17th minute of play. When Nuevo Guararé F.C.'s Sergio Fernández in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villa Rosario's goalie prevented a goal. In the 22nd minute, Sergio Fernández hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Nuevo Guararé F.C.'s Franklin Carrillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Nuevo Guararé F.C. from getting a goal against them. After some careless play in the Villa Rosario defense, David Garcia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Javier Benavides. The Villa Rosario fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Javier Benavides should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Garcia during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Garcia kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Franklin Carrillo made a fantastic save in the 28th minute, when Alexis Lao sent off a good shot on target. When David Garcia came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Nuevo Guararé F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that David Garcia couldn't finish the play. David Garcia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Javier Benavides tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Javier Benavides showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Fernández, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. 43 minutes into the game, Villa Rosario's Alexis Lao nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Carrillo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. After a rather tough play, Villa Rosario's Manuel Valdez got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Sergio Fernández made the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Rolando Corral got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Sergio Fernández had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Corral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 65 minutes, Sergio Fernández managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nuevo Guararé F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Sergio Fernández was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 67th minute, David Garcia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Nuevo Guararé F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-2. Franklin Carrillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rigoberto Carranza went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. A collision led to Villa Rosario getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Elias Ulloa hit a great ball. Nuevo Guararé F.C.'s Rolando Corral got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Villa Rosario's zone, Rolando Corral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Javier Benavides came out of the goal and Rolando Corral tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sergio Fernández recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
