Marcos Nuñez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Pinilla in the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rafael Pinilla in the 41st minute of play forced Gariché's goalkeeper Marcos Nuñez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcos Nuñez made a fantastic save in the 48th minute, when Hermes Tijero sent off a good shot on target. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Rafael Pinilla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Marcos Nuñez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Gariché getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Felix Pimentel hit a great ball. Marcos Nuñez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Juan Villalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The supporters of Gariché booed when Calzada Larga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Diaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 64th minute, Juan Villalobos got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Eduardo Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Navarro having to interfere. In the 74thth minute of the game Rafael Pinilla who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gariché's Marcos Nuñez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Giancarlo Gómez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexander Navarro having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Eduardo Zapata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alexander Navarro, 1-1. Milton Palma kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Rafael Pinilla struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Marcos Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calzada Larga. When Rafael Pinilla came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Calzada Larga fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rafael Pinilla couldn't finish the play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
