Spectators: 6777 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1777, VIP seats: 0) Guararé F.C.'s Eduardo Alfaro started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eduardo Alfaro in the 4th minute of play forced La Pesa F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Peren to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 5 minutes, Eduardo Alfaro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guararé F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Andres Peren made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Pablo Benavides sent off a good shot on target. David Ríos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Garcia De Paredes, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 9th minute Edgardo Garcia De Paredes suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. The supporters of La Pesa F.C. booed when Guararé F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giancarlo Amaya didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, David Valdez managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Pesa F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but David Valdez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Ríos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 17 minutes into the match, La Pesa F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Peren had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pablo Benavides. Pablo Benavides received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Andres Peren tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Eduardo Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Guararé F.C.'s Sergio Muñoz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. 34 minutes into the match, Guararé F.C.'s Eduardo Alfaro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Andres Peren narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Pablo Benavides struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Andres Peren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Guararé F.C.. Javier Oberto kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Guararé F.C.'s zone, David Valdez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Ríos came out of the goal and David Valdez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when David Valdez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. David Valdez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Pesa F.C.'s David Valdez got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 61 minutes into the match, Guararé F.C.'s goalkeeper David Ríos had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by David Valdez. A hard shot 64 in the game by David Valdez from a close distance when the talented David Ríos managed to make a qualified save. Guararé F.C.'s players were relieved. Andres Peren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pablo Benavides in the 66th minute of play. After some careless play in the La Pesa F.C. defense, Eduardo Alfaro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Andres Peren. The La Pesa F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Andres Peren should have stopped the shot. In the 74th minute, David Valdez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pablo Benavides recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guararé F.C.'s Eduardo Alfaro got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Alfaro in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andres Peren saved La Pesa F.C. from getting behind. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind La Pesa F.C.'s goalkeeper Andres Peren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sergio Muñoz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andres Peren having to interfere. For all the effort they put into the match, the La Pesa F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Guararé F.C..
