Pedregal F.C.'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matias Urane sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The supporters of Plaza booed when Pedregal F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano De Diego didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elias Rios showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivan Pérez, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Pedregal F.C. fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 31st minute. Penalty! Elias Rios went to the wrong direction when Miguel Calderón was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Pedregal F.C.'s Elias Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Pérez in the 34th minute of play. In the 38th minute, Plaza's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Matias Urane fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After having played for 41 minutes, Agustin Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plaza's supporters crossed their fingers, but Agustin Smith was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Pedregal F.C.'s Elias Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ivan Pérez in the 43rd minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ivan Pérez made a kick off. After having played for 51 minutes, Rolando Oberto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pedregal F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Oberto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 2-0 became the score in the 53rd minute when Matias Urane elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Matias Urane came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pedregal F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matias Urane couldn't finish the play. 65 minutes into the match, Plaza's goal looked a bit too open when Rolando Oberto came free, but Francesco Gutierrez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Pérez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Plaza's zone, Matias Urane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francesco Gutierrez came out of the goal and Matias Urane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, Rolando Oberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pedregal F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Rolando Oberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Francesco Gutierrez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. For all the effort they put into the match, the Plaza players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pedregal F.C..
