Alexis Moscoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Garcia De Paredes in the 15th minute of the match. Alejandro Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgardo Garcia De Paredes struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Alexis Moscoso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Los Boquerones F.C.. In the 25th minute, Los Boquerones F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Cheito Pimentel fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Alexis Carranza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexis Mota in the 27th minute of the match. After having played for 34 minutes, Edgardo Garcia De Paredes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Los Boquerones F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Edgardo Garcia De Paredes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Los Boquerones F.C.'s Alexis Carranza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Los Boquerones F.C. from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Humberto Carrillo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Los Boquerones F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El Rincón F.C. the free kick. After a rather tough play, Los Boquerones F.C.'s Humberto Carrillo got a free kick in the 46th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Alexis Carranza came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by El Rincón F.C.'s Alexis Mota. But to his dismay, Alexis Mota quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 65th minute, Alexis Mota made a precise shot to the right of Alexis Carranza. Los Boquerones F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alexis Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Mota in the 68th minute of play. Alexis Mota's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexis Carranza read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 79th minute of play. Edgardo Garcia De Paredes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Rincón F.C.'s zone, Alejandro Gonzalez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alexis Moscoso came out of the goal and Alejandro Gonzalez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pedro Ortega took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alexis Carranza. Alexis Carranza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cheito Pimentel in the 94th minute of play forced Los Boquerones F.C.'s goalkeeper Alexis Carranza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alejandro Gonzalez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The El Rincón F.C. fans cheered their team off the field, for while Los Boquerones F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
