Tosh Butterfield's late challenge caught a Joyeros F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathan Escobar to make the kick off. Ryszard Birkenhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herbert Poremba, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. That made the score 0-6 after 87 minutes of play. 91 minutes into the game, Ruben Housham threw the ball into play from the sideline. Joyeros F.C.'s Fabio Agurto quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. With a little luck, Los Super 11's Antonio Osasun got control of the ball when Jonathan Escobar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ryszard Birkenhagen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hernani Marques in the 95th minute of play. When the match was over Joyeros F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Los Super 11 throughout the match.
