Jorge Zambrano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Andrés Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

In the 54thth minute of the game Humberto Urane who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Joyeros F.C.'s Ryszard Birkenhagen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jonathan Escobar recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the game, Joyeros F.C.'s Jonathan Escobar nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jorge Zambrano made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Leonidas Navarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Santa Rita Arriba's Ramon Alfaro got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Jorge Zambrano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathan Escobar in the 65th minute of the match. Jorge Zambrano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Josef Miksa in the 66th minute of play. Joyeros F.C.'s Jonathan Escobar got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
