After 8 played minutes Subiewerks F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Centella. If Martín Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Murillo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Beto Villalobos, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Martín Castillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Elias Murillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Elias Murillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martín Castillo in the 18th minute of the match. If Martín Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Villalobos in the 23rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Villalobos in the 28th minute of play forced Subiewerks F.C.'s goalkeeper Elias Murillo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Agustin Centella managed to get in a good position for a shot. Subiewerks F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Agustin Centella was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Toledano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Azael Centella kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Subiewerks F.C.'s Elias Murillo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Beto Villalobos in the 37th minute of play. After 39 played minutes Subiewerks F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Palma. In the 40th minute Beto Villalobos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Murillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Manuel Palma came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Subiewerks F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Palma couldn't finish the play. Beto Villalobos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agustin Centella to make the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe González during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Felipe González hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Beto Villalobos took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Elias Murillo to make any attempt to save it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Beto Villalobos in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Elias Murillo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Martín Castillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Julio Briceño charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Julio Briceño the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 70th minute, Julio Briceño hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martín Castillo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Elias Murillo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. After 77 minutes of play, Subiewerks F.C.'s Manuel Palma made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ricardo Toledano was left in no man's land by his defense there! Elias Murillo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Villalobos in the 82nd minute of play. Subiewerks F.C.'s Manuel Palma got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Subiewerks F.C. getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Felipe González hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, Subiewerks F.C.'s goalkeeper Elias Murillo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Martín Castillo. Martín Castillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Murillo having to interfere. Elias Murillo came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s Martín Castillo. But to his dismay, Martín Castillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. The Subiewerks F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sioguí Arriba F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Sioguí Arriba F.C..
