In the 7th minute, Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Fernandez. Veracruz F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. 11 minutes into the match, GEMINIS DARIEN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Paredes came free, but Wiliam De Diego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Fernandez having to make a save. Emiliano Fernandez stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Veracruz F.C. getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Carlos Vergara hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev in the 20th minute of play forced Veracruz F.C.'s goalkeeper Emiliano Fernandez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 22nd match minute, Veracruz F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cheito Mora to maneuver through the defense. When GEMINIS DARIEN FC's Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev in 23 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Emiliano Fernandez guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. In the 25thth minute of the game Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veracruz F.C.'s Emiliano Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 0-3 became the score in the 35th minute when Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When Zhang Jing Shi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the GEMINIS DARIEN FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zhang Jing Shi couldn't finish the play. Wiliam De Diego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miguel Paredes in the 44th minute of the match. When the match clock showed 45 minutes, the score became 0-4 when Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev sped through Veracruz F.C.'s defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emiliano Fernandez. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Miguel Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 51st match minute, Veracruz F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Perez to maneuver through the defense. In the 56thth minute of the game Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veracruz F.C.'s Emiliano Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Veracruz F.C.'s Luis Alfaro got a free kick in the 56th minute. Emiliano Fernandez stood somewhat misplaced when Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev came free in front of goal and shot 0-5 to the left of him in the 58 minute. Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fernandez having to interfere. Alexander Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 67th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 69 minutes, Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GEMINIS DARIEN FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 73 minutes of play, GEMINIS DARIEN FC's Emanuel Paredes made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emiliano Fernandez was left in no man's land by his defense there! GEMINIS DARIEN FC's Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Veracruz F.C. defense, Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Fernandez. The Veracruz F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Fernandez should have stopped the shot. Cheito Mora kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emiliano Fernandez having to make a save. In the 88th minute of the match, Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano Fernandez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Fernandez having to interfere. Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Emiliano Fernandez made a huge save. In the 97thth minute of the game Tzvetomir Bogdantzaliev who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Veracruz F.C.'s Emiliano Fernandez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. GEMINIS DARIEN FC played a much better game than Veracruz F.C. and deserved their victory. The Veracruz F.C. players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
