Eduardo Villarreal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Calito Jaen in the 10th minute of play forced Metetí's goalkeeper Eduardo Villarreal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Eduardo Villarreal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calito Barrera in the 20th minute of the match. After 21 minutes, Giancarlo Agurto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Vacamonte and the Metetí players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Lucho Lozano came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Metetí fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucho Lozano couldn't finish the play. Alberto Benavides fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Lozano having to interfere. Eduardo Villarreal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calito Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduardo Villarreal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Giancarlo Agurto in the 31st minute of the match. When the match had been going on for 41 minutes, Metetí's Hermes Valdez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Sergio Lozano. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Fernando De Paredes during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fernando De Paredes hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 46 minutes into the match, Calito Barrera had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Eduardo Villarreal. Metetí's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Calito Barrera was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Calito Jaen to make the kick off. Eduardo Villarreal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Calito Jaen, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Jonathan Pinilla kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. In the 64th minute, Fernando De Paredes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Vacamonte booed when Metetí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Benavides didn't get a good kick on the ball. Metetí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. 94 minutes into the match, Vacamonte's Calito Barrera sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eduardo Villarreal narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The Metetí supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Vacamonte's performance. The match ended with a win for Vacamonte.
