Spectators: 7080 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1425, VIP seats: 155) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Alexis Mendoza took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Gabriel Dely managed to get in a good position for a shot. Darien F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Dely was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Toto De Diego breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 6 played minutes JOYEROS FC got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Mendoza. Toto De Diego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pablo Valdez, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Pablo Valdez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. JOYEROS FC's Toto De Diego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Dely in the 17th minute of play. Franklin Herrera charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Franklin Herrera the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 18th minute, Franklin Herrera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th match minute, Darien F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pablo Valdez to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alexis Mendoza got free with Jonathan Dely in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 35 minutes of play, Darien F.C.'s Pablo Valdez made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Toto De Diego was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Emanuel Villalaz came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the JOYEROS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Villalaz couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Darien F.C. getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Ricardo Urane hit a great ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pablo Valdez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Fernández sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pablo Valdez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in JOYEROS FC's zone, Gabriel Dely stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Toto De Diego came out of the goal and Gabriel Dely tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Dely's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Toto De Diego firmly grabbed it by the left post. Emanuel Villalaz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 66 minutes, Pablo Valdez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Darien F.C. and the JOYEROS FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gabriel Dely hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Mendoza in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Dely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Toto De Diego made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gabriel Dely in the 78th minute. Leonidas Mendieta hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, JOYEROS FC's Alexis Corral got a free kick in the 80th minute. 83 minutes into the match, Pablo Valdez dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Toto De Diego, 2-2. When JOYEROS FC's Alexis Mendoza in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Darien F.C.'s goalie prevented a goal. If Alexis Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alexis Mendoza in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jonathan Dely prevented the ball from getting in the gole. JOYEROS FC were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Darien F.C. to leave the ground with a draw.
