After 31 minutes of play, Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Max Chavez made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emanuel Quintero was left in no man's land by his defense there! Max Chavez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Emanuel Quintero made a huge save. Sabanitas F.C.'s Alejandro Trejos got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Alejandro Trejos struck a weak shot in the 41st minute. Nicolás Peralta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sabanitas F.C.. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Emanuel Quintero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Aizprua, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The Sabanitas F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emanuel Quintero should have stopped the shot. After 57 played minutes Santa Ana Arriba F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Raul Henriguez. Luis De Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match.
