Spectators: 7080 (Terracing: 5500, Seating: 1425, VIP seats: 155) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Pedro Aizprua kicked off to start the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Aizprua in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Toto De Diego saved JOYEROS FC from getting behind. A collision led to JOYEROS FC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Miguel Fernández hit a great ball. JOYEROS FC's Toto De Diego played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Max Chavez in the 14th minute of play. Alexis Mendozas short, quick shot in the 17thth minute got Nicolás Peralta to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Emanuel Villalaz came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the JOYEROS FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Villalaz couldn't finish the play. Toto De Diego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Aizprua in the 22nd minute of play. The supporters of Santa Ana Arriba F.C. booed when JOYEROS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuel Villalaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 25 minutes, Miguel Fernández mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the JOYEROS FC and the Santa Ana Arriba F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Miguel Fernández hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match Beto Henríguez sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Toto De Diego skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Santa Ana Arriba F.C. getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Raul Henriguez hit a great ball. Nicolás Peralta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alexis Mendoza in the 38th minute of play. Toto De Diego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Max Chavez, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Max Chavez might have been able to make a better finish in the 43rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toto De Diego. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Max Chavez ran back to his position shaking his head. Toto De Diego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Max Chavez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 43 played minutes JOYEROS FC got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Fernández. A collision led to Santa Ana Arriba F.C. getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Raul Henriguez hit a great ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Alexis Mendoza made the kick off in the second half. If Alexis Mendoza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexis Mendoza sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Juan Henríguez's late challenge caught a JOYEROS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Juan Henríguez helped the player get up and apologised. Juan Henríguez kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, JOYEROS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Miguel Fernández to maneuver through the defense. If Max Chavez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Toto De Diego managed to avoid a goal in the 74thth minute, when Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Max Chavez fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Alexis Mendoza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicolás Peralta having to interfere. After having played for 77 minutes, Alexis Mendoza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. JOYEROS FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexis Mendoza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alexis Mendoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Nicolás Peralta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Miguel Fernández shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicolás Peralta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute of the match, Pedro Aizprua tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Toto De Diego saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Pedro Aizprua sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Santa Ana Arriba F.C.'s Nicolás Peralta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexis Mendoza in the 88th minute of play. Nicolás Peralta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alexis Mendoza's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the JOYEROS FC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
