Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Lucho Rios made the kick off which started today's match. When Lucho Rios came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Sabanitas F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lucho Rios couldn't finish the play. Emanuel Quintero made a fantastic save in the 6th minute, when Juan Urane sent off a good shot on target. Lucho Rios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Jaen's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Quintero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 13th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolando Osorio in the 14th minute of play forced Sabanitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Quintero came out of the goal in the 16th minute to try and stop a shot by Puerto Pilón's Juan Jaen. But to his dismay, Juan Jaen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. With a little luck, Sabanitas F.C.'s Emanuel Quintero got control of the ball when Juan Urane tried to sneak it across the goal line. 20 minutes into the match, Sabanitas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Villalaz came free, but Emanuel Quintero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emanuel Quintero was a little too slow when Juan Urane got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet as Victor Villalaz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Quintero. That made the score 3-0 in the 34 minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sabanitas F.C.'s Matias Ramirez got a free kick in the 40th minute. In the 44th minute, Puerto Pilón's Victor Villalaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rolando Osorio made a kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Puerto Pilón's Juan Urane nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Emanuel Quintero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Emanuel Quintero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rolando Osorio in the 64th minute of the match. Emanuel Quintero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Osorio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes into the match, Juan Jaen notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Sabanitas F.C.'s Emanuel Quintero. Emanuel Quintero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Lucho Rios fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Morris having to interfere. In the 71st match minute, Puerto Pilón was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor Villalaz to maneuver through the defense. Alejandro Trejos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Osorio scored 7-0 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emanuel Quintero, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 80th minute Rolando Osorio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emanuel Quintero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juan Urane in the 82nd minute of play forced Sabanitas F.C.'s goalkeeper Emanuel Quintero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emanuel Quintero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Jaen in the 83rd minute of play. Alejandro Trejos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrés Morris having to interfere. Sabanitas F.C.'s Lucho Rios got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 95th minute Lucho Rios shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrés Morris saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Sabanitas F.C. players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Puerto Pilón.
