Nombre De Dios F.C.'s Beto Fernandez proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Nombre De Dios F.C. from getting a goal against them. After 7 minutes, Heraclides Sánchez made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Nombre De Dios F.C.'s Beto Fernandez tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Ramon González recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ramon González sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Heraclides Sánchezs short, quick shot in the 19thth minute got Beto Fernandez to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The crowd rose to their feet as Heraclides Sánchez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Beto Fernandez. That made the score 2-0 in the 25 minute of play. A hard shot by Hector Pinilla from long distance, 29 minutes into the match, got Beto Fernandez's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Heraclides Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Beto Fernandez having to interfere. Beto Fernandez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Heraclides Sánchez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beto Fernandez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lorenzo Mota went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Heraclides Sánchez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Beto Fernandez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd minute, Heraclides Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Nombre De Dios F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Lorenzo Mota came free, but Beto Fernandez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Nombre De Dios F.C. getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Ramón Murillo hit a great ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Pinilla stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute of the match Nombre De Dios F.C. got a corner. Mañanitas's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Raul Villarreal ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ramón Murillo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Mañanitas's Luis Osorio did a great save. Ramon González received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Luis Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heraclides Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Beto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heraclides Sánchez in the 75th minute of play. Heraclides Sánchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Beto Fernandez having to make a save. Beto Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heraclides Sánchez in the 91st minute of play. Jaime Spadafora struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Beto Fernandez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mañanitas. Heraclides Sánchez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Fernandez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play.
