Rolando Garcia De Paredes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Eduardo Henriguez. Juan Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Zambrano in the 23rd minute of play. In the 24th minute, Rafael Zambrano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristóbal's Juan Carranza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rafael Zambrano in the 33rd minute of play. Juan Herbruger could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but Rolando Garcia De Paredes made a huge save. After 35 played minutes Alanje F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Heraclides Smith. Juan Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafael Zambrano in the 48th minute of play. The Cristóbal players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Alanje F.C. were winning 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel De Diego was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Emanuel De Diego shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juan Carranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 68 played minutes Alanje F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manuel De Paredes. If Sergio Espino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuel De Diego fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Carranza having to interfere. In the 83rd match minute, Cristóbal was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Moisés Ríos to maneuver through the defense.
