Spectators: 6791 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1791, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Emanuel De Diego took the kick off in the first half of the match. Rolando Garcia De Paredes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Humberto Herrera, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Totín Centella, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Felipe Mota charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felipe Mota the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Alanje F.C. getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Felipe Mota hit a great ball. Manuel De Paredes hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute, Totín Centella sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alanje F.C.'s Rolando Garcia De Paredes didn't even have to move. Horconcitos F.C.'s Matias Bultrón got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Matias Bultrón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alanje F.C.'s Rolando Garcia De Paredes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monchi Diaz in the 26th minute of play. Matias Bultrón sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Matias Bultrón in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Garcia De Paredes saved Alanje F.C. from getting behind. When Humberto Herrera fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horconcitos F.C.'s protests and gave Humberto Herrera a yellow card for diving instead. After 31 played minutes Horconcitos F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Humberto Herrera. 33 minutes into the game, Emanuel De Diego was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alanje F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Horconcitos F.C. the free kick. After 33 played minutes Alanje F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Emanuel De Diego. If Matias Bultrón had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolando Garcia De Paredes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Matias Bultrón in the 39th minute of play. Alanje F.C.'s Felipe Mota got his second yellow card of the match in the 40th minute. The referee ordered Felipe Mota off the ground. Felipe Mota hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Horconcitos F.C.'s Totín Centella tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Alanje F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guillermo Mora to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Matias Bultrón managed to get in a good position for a shot. Horconcitos F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Bultrón was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Garcia De Paredes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Monchi Diaz got free with Rolando Garcia De Paredes in the 57th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 58 played minutes Alanje F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Heraclides Smith. The audience was convinced that Matias Bultrón's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Garcia De Paredes was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Manuel De Paredes might have been able to make a better finish in the 69th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Miguel Quiros. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Manuel De Paredes ran back to his position shaking his head. Rolando Garcia De Paredes came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Horconcitos F.C.'s Matias Bultrón. But to his dismay, Matias Bultrón quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Matias Bultrón received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Rolando Garcia De Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alanje F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Matias Bultrón 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-2. When Monchi Diaz came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Horconcitos F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Monchi Diaz couldn't finish the play. The Alanje F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Horconcitos F.C. were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
