No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Pablo Navarro to make the kick off. Pablo Navarro might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mario Smith. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pablo Navarro ran back to his position shaking his head. Toto Spadafora's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 53rdth minute, Mario Smith skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The referee showed Alexis Morales the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gustavo Diaz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.
