In the 12th minute, María Chiquita's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Zapata fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luchito Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Ramon Bultrón tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to El Real De Santa María getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Leonidas Ramos hit a great ball. In the 38th minute, Ulpiano Sánchez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alberto Vergara was a little too slow when Sebastián Tijero got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-1. If Luchito Gomez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Tomaso Castillero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramon Bultrón saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Ulpiano Sánchez made the kick off in the second half. If Ulpiano Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alberto Zapata took the ball and in the 56 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alberto Vergara. Alberto Vergara dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. If Alberto Zapata had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Ulpiano Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Ramon Bultrón managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when María Chiquita's Tomaso Castillero fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 69 minutes into the match, María Chiquita's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Zapata came free, but Alberto Vergara reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alberto Zapata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alberto Vergara having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Ulpiano Sánchez notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of María Chiquita's Alberto Vergara. Alberto Vergara was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a rather tough play, María Chiquita's Luchito Gomez got a free kick in the 81st minute. Ulpiano Sánchez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 85th play minutes Alberto Zapata shot 4-1, a short shot which went by Alberto Vergara and just under the crossbar into goal. After 94 played minutes María Chiquita got a freekick which was hit by Leonidas Garcia. If Ulpiano Sánchez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. El Real De Santa María fully deserved thier win.
