Garachiné F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Alfaro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ulpiano Gomez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramon Bultrón having to make a save. Ramon Bultrón took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Alfaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ulpiano Sánchez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eloy Fernandez having to interfere. In the 63rd match minute, Garachiné F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mario Chavez to maneuver through the defense. Ulpiano Sánchez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th match minute, Garachiné F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calito Rios to maneuver through the defense. When Sebastián Tijero came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the El Real De Santa María fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sebastián Tijero couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, El Real De Santa María's Joe Castillero got a free kick in the 76th minute. Felipe Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in El Real De Santa María's zone, Ulpiano Gomez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Bultrón came out of the goal and Ulpiano Gomez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Zapata in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eloy Fernandez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Felipe Alfaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
