Spectators: 6794 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1794, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Eloy Orozco started the match with the kick off. Jose Torrijos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eloy Orozco in the 4th minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Nuevo Guararé's goal looked a bit too open when Eloy Orozco came free, but Jose Torrijos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Celmira F.C.'s Sergio Mendieta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Javier Rios in the 9th minute of play. Javier Rios received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Sergio Mendieta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Torrijos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Henriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eloy Orozco hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. After 17 minutes, Javier Rios made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Celmira F.C.'s Sergio Mendieta tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sergio Mendieta didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matias Sánchez went, in the 21st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Antonio Carranza blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Mendieta having to make a save. In the 33rd minute of the match Alejandro Villalobos shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sergio Mendieta showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastián Henriguez hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Javier Rios in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Mendieta prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 39 played minutes Celmira F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Sebastián Henriguez. If Javier Rios had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Javier Rios made the kick off in the second half. In the 51stth minute of the game Javier Rios who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Celmira F.C.'s Sergio Mendieta was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Eloy Orozco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jose Torrijos having to interfere. Sergio Mendieta came out of the goal in the 60th minute to try and stop a shot by Nuevo Guararé's Antonio Carranza. But to his dismay, Antonio Carranza quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. Jose Torrijos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sebastián Henriguez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Nuevo Guararé's Alejandro Villalobos got a free kick in the 72nd minute. After having played for 73 minutes, Wiliam Zapata managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Celmira F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Zapata was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Eloy Centella was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Celmira F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Nuevo Guararé the free kick. After 75 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Celmira F.C.! Sergio Mendieta was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Javier Rios capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Javier Rios really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. 86 minutes into the match, Celmira F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Javier Rios came free, but Sergio Mendieta reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Mendieta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Javier Rios in the 97th minute of play. When the match was over Nuevo Guararé could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Celmira F.C. throughout the match.
