Spectators: 6793 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1793, VIP seats: 0) Los Boquerones F.C.'s Rolando Ramírez started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Juan Villalobos kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. San Blas F.C.'s Javier Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Enrique Mendieta kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Jorge Osorio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomás Ulloa, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Tomás Ulloa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jorge Osorio having to interfere. After a rather tough play, San Blas F.C.'s Gilberto Castillero got a free kick in the 13th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tomás Ulloa in the 15th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jorge Osorio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Tomás Ulloa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Los Boquerones F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomás Ulloa couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Los Boquerones F.C. booed when San Blas F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joe Ulloa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tomás Ulloa in the 20th minute of play forced San Blas F.C.'s goalkeeper Jorge Osorio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tomás Ulloa in the 22nd minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Los Boquerones F.C.'s goalkeeper Totin Tello had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipe Dely. In the 26th minute, Felipe Dely got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonidas Arias in the 29th minute of play forced Los Boquerones F.C.'s goalkeeper Totin Tello to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Totin Tello was a little too slow when Leonidas Arias got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 1-0. Felipe Dely received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Totin Tello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Heraclides Vergara hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. Jorge Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ramírez in the 40th minute of play. Totin Tello showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonidas Arias, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Heraclides Vergara's late challenge caught a San Blas F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Heraclides Vergara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 44th minute, Heraclides Vergara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Leonidas Arias made a kick off. The audience was convinced that Rolando Ramírez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jorge Osorio was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. 54 minutes into the match, San Blas F.C.'s Felipe Dely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Totin Tello narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59thth minute of the game Rolando Ramírez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but San Blas F.C.'s Jorge Osorio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rolando Ramírez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tomás Ulloa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Jorge Osorio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to San Blas F.C. getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Leonidas Arias hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rolando Ramírez in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jorge Osorio saved San Blas F.C. from getting behind. After 77 minutes of play, Los Boquerones F.C.'s Tomás Ulloa made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jorge Osorio was left in no man's land by his defense there! Tomás Ulloa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tomás Ulloa got free with Jorge Osorio in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Felipe Dely sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Rolando Ramírez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jorge Osorio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rolando Ramírez in the 94th minute of play. Tomás Ulloa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jorge Osorio read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 96th minute of play.
