Andrés Torrijos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guillermo Moreno in the 48th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. Hector Mendoza in the 52ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
