When Romel Castillero came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Pedasi F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romel Castillero couldn't finish the play. Fernando Palma showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Villalobos in the 26th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the game, Ivan Orozco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pedasi F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pedasi F.C. the free kick. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alejandro Villalobos to strike the kick off in the second half. After 91 minutes, Fabio Ramirez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pedasi F.C. and the Pedasi F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card.
