Spectators: 6771 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 0) Jaime Osorio's late challenge caught a San Blas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jaime Osorio helped the player get up and apologised. After 8 played minutes Isla Iguana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Osorio. The attack was good, but when Milton Muñoz in the 11th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alberto Gómez during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After recieving a nice pass, Isla Iguana F.C.'s Leonidas Garcia tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 18 played minutes San Blas got a freekick which was hit by Sergio Carranza. In the 19th minute of the match Leonidas Garcia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Felipe Castro showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If José Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. San Blas's Heraclides Smith got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th match minute, Isla Iguana F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fernando Escalona to maneuver through the defense. If Milton Muñoz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fernando Escalona charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Fernando Escalona the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Isla Iguana F.C. getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Fernando Escalona hit a great ball. Milton Muñoz struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Raul Murillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for San Blas. After a defensive mix-up in Isla Iguana F.C.'s zone, Milton Muñoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raul Murillo came out of the goal and Milton Muñoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If José Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

56 minutes into the match, San Blas's Milton Muñoz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raul Murillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 78th play minute Heraclides Smith came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Raul Murillo. 2-1. In the 84th minute, Jorge Jaen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute, Martín Batista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Heraclides Smith recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 97th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Many of San Blas's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. San Blas may have spent more time on the ball, but Isla Iguana F.C. were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
