Spectators: 6774 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1774, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Max Garcia started the match with the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 3rd minute, Fernando Escalona managed to get in a good position for a shot. Isla Iguana F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Fernando Escalona was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Elias Gil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Escalona during the 10th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 10 played minutes Dep Margun got a freekick which was hit by Jaime Escalona. In the 11th minute of the match Jaime Osorio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Gil showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Jaime Escalona was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 14 minutes had been played. Jaime Escalona kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute of the match Leonidas Garcia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Elias Gil skillfully saved the ball. Dep Margun's Elias Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fernando Escalona in the 18th minute of play. In the 25th minute, Max Garcia made a precise shot to the right of Raul Murillo. Isla Iguana F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Dep Margun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan Corral to maneuver through the defense. José Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Elias Gil stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Martín Batista's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. If Max Garcia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 47 minutes, Wiliam Fernandez mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Isla Iguana F.C. and the Dep Margun players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 47 played minutes Isla Iguana F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Wiliam Fernandez. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martín Batista to strike the kick off in the second half. Max Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 53rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 56th minute Martín Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Garcia during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 58th match minute, Dep Margun was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Garcia to maneuver through the defense. Max Garcia hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Azael Paredes hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martín Batista in the 70th minute of play forced Dep Margun's goalkeeper Elias Gil to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Juan Corral was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 72 minutes into the match. Leonidas Garcia shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 77 minutes into the game, Leonidas Chavez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dep Margun's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Isla Iguana F.C. the free kick. In the 77th minute, one of Dep Margun:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Dep Margun. The referee gave Isla Iguana F.C. a penalty, 79 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Leonidas Garcia, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dep Margun's Elias Gil. 2-1. Dep Margun's Elias Gil played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Castro in the 85th minute of play. The audience held their breath when Beto Pimentel in the 89th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Raul Murillo's left hand side. In the 94th minute Martín Batista shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elias Gil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Azael Paredes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Dep Margun's Alberto Nuñez got a free kick in the 100th minute. 102 minutes into the match, Dep Margun's goal looked a bit too open when Martín Batista came free, but Elias Gil reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Dep Margun players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Isla Iguana F.C..
