After a defensive mix-up in Potrero Grande's zone, Milton Muñoz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramon Toledano came out of the goal and Milton Muñoz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Heraclides Smith managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Blas's supporters rose to their feet, but Heraclides Smith was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ramon Toledano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd minute, Heraclides Smith got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Heraclides Smith in the 38th minute of play forced Potrero Grande's goalkeeper Ramon Toledano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Andres Mendieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Felipe Castro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Potrero Grande fans cheered their team off the field, for while San Blas had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
