The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cheito Morris to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Alexis Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Guillermo Villalaz kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Jorge Zapata showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totin Trejos in the 91st minute of the match. 94 minutes into the match, Alexis Ortiz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Las Cumbres F.C.'s Jaime Peralta. Jaime Peralta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
