Guabito's Totín Villalobos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Villalaz in the 24th minute of play. Mario Gomez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Lao having to interfere. Monchi Jaen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Totín Villalobos made a huge save. After 32 played minutes, Guabito's Miguel Mendoza shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cesar Lao came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Guabito reached it. In the 42nd minute Mario Gomez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Lao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

The wind increased when Mario Gomez made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to New Azorius F.C. getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Lucho Sánchez hit a great ball.
