Felix Aizprua hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Cheito Brandao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Gomez in the 11th minute of the match. Mario Ramírez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cheito Brandao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Gomez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With an all-out effort, Gariché's Cheito Brandao threw himself towards the right post 17 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from José Gomez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Reggie Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 25th minute Mario Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Carranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Reggie Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cheito Brandao having to interfere. Reggie Bermudez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Cheito Brandao made a huge save. Reggie Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Cheito Brandao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s Sebastián Valdez got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Pablo Carranza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mario Ramírez in the 42nd minute of play. In the 46th minute Mario Ramírez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Carranza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Sebastián Valdez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when Mario Ramírez made the kick off in the second half. Ivan Vergara's late challenge caught a Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ivan Vergara helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Gariché fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 52nd minute. Penalty! The referee gave Churuquita Chiquita F.C. a penalty, 54 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Orlando Corral, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Gariché's Pablo Carranza. 0-1. When Reggie Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Gariché fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reggie Bermudez couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s Raul Diaz got a free kick in the 62nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 68th minute, Mario Ramírez managed to get in a good position for a shot. Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mario Ramírez was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pablo Carranza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Churuquita Chiquita F.C.'s zone, Reggie Bermudez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cheito Brandao came out of the goal and Reggie Bermudez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 80 played minutes Churuquita Chiquita F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Mario Ramírez. Sebastián Valdez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pablo Carranza having to interfere. After 87 played minutes Orlando Corral shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Gariché's Pablo Carranza to catch but Orlando Corral was lucky. It became 0-2 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Reggie Bermudez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Cheito Brandao tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Churuquita Chiquita F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
