Marcos Brandao's late challenge caught a Boquete F.C.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marcos Brandao helped the player get up and apologised. Marcos Brandao hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Andrés Villarreal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 21 minutes into the match, Las Tablas F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Victor Quiros came free, but Tomaso De Paredes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 22 minutes into the match, Boquete F.C.'s David Treviño sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tomaso De Paredes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Andrés Villarreal to make the kick off. In the 76thth minute of the game Totin Morales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Boquete F.C.'s Miguel Quiros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Totin Morales in the 78th minute of play forced Boquete F.C.'s goalkeeper Miguel Quiros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. David Treviño received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Tomaso De Paredes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If David Treviño had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
