Spectators: 6799 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1799, VIP seats: 0) When Cesar De Paredes came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Santa Fé fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cesar De Paredes couldn't finish the play. Fulvio Bassani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Joni Ihanam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santa Fé's Hector Agurto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fulvio Bassani in the 6th minute of play. Hector Agurto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Jaen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Fulvio Bassani managed to get in a good position for a shot. lostranke's supporters rose to their feet, but Fulvio Bassani was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hector Agurto breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 28 minutes into the game, Joni Ihanam cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Hector Agurto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The supporters of lostranke booed when Santa Fé was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrés Peren didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 33 minutes of play, lostranke's Joni Ihanam made it 0-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hector Agurto was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th match minute, Santa Fé was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustavo Benavides to maneuver through the defense. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cesar De Paredes to strike the kick off in the second half. Cesar De Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in lostranke's zone, Gustavo Urane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luchito Gutierrez came out of the goal and Gustavo Urane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hector Agurto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joni Ihanam in the 62nd minute of play. In the 64th minute, Fulvio Bassani left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The lostranke fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-7. After having played for 68 minutes, Javier Sánchez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. lostranke's supporters crossed their fingers, but Javier Sánchez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fulvio Bassani's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 70thth minute, Hector Agurto skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 71 minutes into the match, Joni Ihanam dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Hector Agurto, 0-8. 73 minutes into the game, Lucho Urane was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Santa Fé's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave lostranke the free kick. After a rather tough play, Santa Fé's Lucho Urane got a free kick in the 74th minute. Fulvio Bassani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Hector Agurto made a huge save. Joni Ihanam sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Guillermo Lozano hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Fulvio Bassani got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joni Ihanam in the 87th minute of play forced Santa Fé's goalkeeper Hector Agurto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, lostranke's Fulvio Bassani ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Hector Agurto. Hector Agurto yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-9. When the match was over lostranke could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santa Fé throughout the match.
