An unexpectedly hard shot by Totín Bultrón in the 3rd minute of play forced La Espigadilla F.C.'s goalkeeper Christian Henriguez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Reggie De Paredes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Galaxy Eleven FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Calito Gutierrez hit a great ball. In the 13th match minute, La Espigadilla F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Max Herrera to maneuver through the defense. Rigoberto Murillo struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Christian Henriguez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galaxy Eleven FC. Christian Henriguez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Totín Bultrón in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Totín Bultrón left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galaxy Eleven FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After having played for 23 minutes, Totín Bultrón managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galaxy Eleven FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Totín Bultrón was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christian Henriguez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Totín Bultrón, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rigoberto Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Henriguez having to interfere. Christian Henriguez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Totín Bultrón went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Galaxy Eleven FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Javier Mota hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in La Espigadilla F.C.'s zone, Rigoberto Murillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Henriguez came out of the goal and Rigoberto Murillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calito Gutierrez hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. After 38 played minutes Galaxy Eleven FC got a freekick which was hit by Rigoberto Murillo. 41 minutes into the match, La Espigadilla F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Murillo came free, but Christian Henriguez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rigoberto González hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a rather tough play, Galaxy Eleven FC's Totín Bultrón got a free kick in the 55th minute. Hermes Ulloa struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Rigoberto Ramírez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Espigadilla F.C.. The supporters of La Espigadilla F.C. booed when Galaxy Eleven FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Pinilla didn't get a good kick on the ball. Max Herrera hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Christian Henriguez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rigoberto Murillo in the 59th minute. 61 minutes had been played when some careless play by La Espigadilla F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alejandro Osorio was slow to take the kick. During this time Galaxy Eleven FC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Galaxy Eleven FC's Totín Bultrón to fire away a dangerous shot which Christian Henriguez despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Totín Bultrón hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Galaxy Eleven FC's Pedro Pinilla got a free kick in the 64th minute. Rigoberto Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Christian Henriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Murillo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pedro Pinilla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Henriguez having to interfere. Christian Henriguez made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Rigoberto Murillo sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the La Espigadilla F.C. defense, Pedro Pinilla kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Christian Henriguez. The La Espigadilla F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Christian Henriguez should have stopped the shot. Hermes Ulloa took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rigoberto Ramírez. Rigoberto Ramírez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Totín Bultrón hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Rigoberto Murillo in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Christian Henriguez, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Reinaldo Chavez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Christian Henriguez skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Rigoberto Murillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Christian Henriguez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rigoberto Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. La Espigadilla F.C.'s Max Herrera got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The La Espigadilla F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Galaxy Eleven FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
