With a couple of smart ball manuevers Giancarlo Escobar in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guillermo Gonzalez saved New Géminis Darién F.C. from getting behind. Guillermo Gonzalez came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Río Rita's Giancarlo Escobar. But to his dismay, Giancarlo Escobar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Guillermo Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radul Kushlev, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. When Río Rita's Giancarlo Escobar in the 23rd minute got a chance for a shot 23rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. In the 29th minute Giancarlo Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Gonzalez didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Radul Kushlev went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 37thth minute of the game Giancarlo Escobar who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Géminis Darién F.C.'s Guillermo Gonzalez was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Radul Kushlev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Guillermo Gonzalez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind New Géminis Darién F.C.'s goalkeeper Guillermo Gonzalez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Giancarlo Escobar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Guillermo Gonzalez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 63 minutes, Radul Kushlev put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Guillermo Gonzalez. In the 66th minute, Radul Kushlev ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Guillermo Gonzalez was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in New Géminis Darién F.C.'s zone, Radul Kushlev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guillermo Gonzalez came out of the goal and Radul Kushlev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Río Rita getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cesar Amaya hit a great ball. Calito Arauz hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Giancarlo Escobar received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Guillermo Gonzalez came out and tried to block the shot, but Giancarlo Escobar slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 74th minute. In the 76th minute Giancarlo Escobar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 79 minutes into the match, Río Rita's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Bultrón came free, but Afonsinho Camargo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Río Rita's Giancarlo Escobar slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Guillermo Gonzalez. That made the score 0-7 after 81 minutes of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Guillermo Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Radul Kushlev in the 93rd minute. When the match was over Río Rita could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than New Géminis Darién F.C. throughout the match.
